Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy Allows Clients to Address Life’s Common Stressors in a Positive, Productive Manner

For some clients, stressors in life become too much to handle. Life transitions, the loss of a job, grief and adjustment problems can leave some individuals depressed, struggling to contend with the normal activities of everyday life.

At Healing Connections, our highly-trained, licensed therapists help clients who are facing these stressors. We welcome them into our community and provide the essential support, counseling, and structure they need on an individual level to identify, acknowledge, and promote recovery with whatever issues they are facing.

Using behavioral analysis to learn new strategies for growth

We employ proven behavioral analysis as a key component in recognizing and addressing core issues. Through this analysis, clients are able to look at their behaviors, emotions, body sensations and thoughts in order to make sense of what has happened in their lives, and why.

We are then able to help our clients to break free from cyclical behavioral patterns that perpetuate stressors and help them to develop new skills to deal effectively with the issues they are facing.

Individual counseling can be one-on-one, or include others

Individual Therapy

Healing Connections therapists approach each client in a highly personalized way, whether they require one-on-one therapy or group sessions or both.

For some clients we may recommend a DBT Skills program in addition to individual therapy to further their growth and healing.
