Tracy Schmidt MA, joined the Healing Connection team in 2006 after completion of her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology through Saint Mary’s University in Mpls, MN. Prior to this she had been working in the addiction field for 15 years specializing in working with adolescents that struggled with dual diagnosis of addiction and mental illness. She holds an active Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor license. She has experience with adolescents, families and couples and has facilitated a number of different types of groups.  She enjoys teaching other professionals and program development, and has experience in both. In her quiet time she enjoys her children, gardening, dance, reading and creating stain glass pieces.
