Kristin E. Jacobs, graduate intern, is in the process of completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Argosy University. This year at Healing Connections she is completing her therapy practicum by providing individual therapy, case management, and co-facilitating groups. Last year, Kris fulfilled her assessment practicum requirement by studying and working at an agency that specialized in completing psychological assessments for individuals who had been charged with sexual and physical assaults. At this site, Kris interviewed clients, administered cognitive and personality tests, as well as observed individual and group therapy sessions. Kris is very excited about finally having the opportunity to provide psychological services directly to clients. When not working at Healing Connections, studying at school or serving at a local restaurant, Kris enjoys shopping for antiques, touring art museums and relaxing in front of the television with her two cats, Cleo and Heartley.
